Hot-melt Adhesive For Carpets / Carpets Textiles Glue /  Polyurethane Hot-melt Adhesive Fabric 

 

Descripition:

Hot-melt adhesives (HMAs) are thermoplastic polymers that liquefy when heated (typically 120-180°C) and solidify upon cooling, creating strong bonds in carpet manufacturing. They dominate the industry due to:

Instant bonding (no drying/curing time)

100% solids content (no solvents/VOCs)

High production speeds (compatible with automation)

Excellent tuft bind strength

 

Main characteristics

Thermoplastic adhesive that melts when heated (typically 80°C–160°C) and bonds fabrics upon cooling.

Reactive PU (PUR): Cures with moisture for permanent, wash-resistant bonds.

Non-reactive PU: Standard thermoplastic adhesive, flexible but less durable than PUR.

Used for seam sealing, lamination, hemming, and reinforcing textiles.
