Descripition:

Polyurethane (PUR) hot-melt adhesive for fabric is a high-performance, moisture-curing glue that provides strong, flexible, and durable bonds for textiles. Unlike traditional hot-melt adhesives (like EVA or PA), PUR adhesives offer superior resistance to washing, dry cleaning, heat, and chemicals, making them ideal for demanding fabric applications.

 

Main characteristics

Thermoplastic adhesive that melts when heated (typically 80°C–160°C) and bonds fabrics upon cooling.

Reactive PU (PUR): Cures with moisture for permanent, wash-resistant bonds.

Non-reactive PU: Standard thermoplastic adhesive, flexible but less durable than PUR.

Used for seam sealing, lamination, hemming, and reinforcing textiles.
