Descripition:

AS-8918 is a water-based environmentally friendly adhesive synthesized by adopting international advanced technology and following a special emulsification process. This product features excellent adhesion, high bonding strength (capable of adhering to concave-convex and embossed surfaces), relatively fast drying speed, high gloss, and outstanding aging resistance.

• Cost-Effective: Generally the most economical option for many packaging applications.

• Easy to Use & Clean: Can be cleaned up with water before it dries. Solvents are not needed.

• Non-Toxic & Safe: Once cured, they are inert and safe for indirect food contact (e.g., cereal boxes), making them excellent for food packaging.

• Excellent for Porous Materials: They work perfectly on paper, cardboard, and wood because the water soaks into the fibers, and the PVA particles create a strong mechanical bond as the water evaporates.

• Flexible Bond: The dried film remains somewhat flexible, which is good for boxes that need to be folded or flexed.

Operating Conditions
This product is suitable for applying glue onto films on automatic/hybrid laminating machines, after which it is dried through an oven and then thermally bonded with printed paper products (i.e., dry lamination). The glue application amount is generally 8-20 grams per square meter. The pressure of the lamination roller is controlled at 15-25 MPa, and the oven temperature is generally controlled between 50-120℃. The temperature of the lamination roller is generally controlled between 60-130℃.
