Polyurethane Hot-melt Adhesive Fabric / Fabric Glue / Fabric Pur Adhesive
Descripition:
Thermoplastic & Reactive Properties
PUR adhesives are initially thermoplastic (melt when heated) but react with moisture to form a strong, durable bond.
Offers flexibility and resistance to washing, dry cleaning, and heat.
Strong & Durable Bonding
Excellent adhesion to fabrics (cotton, polyester, nylon, leather, etc.).
Resistant to peeling, washing, and mechanical stress.
Low Application Temperature
Typically applied at 100–130°C (lower than EVA-based hot melts), reducing fabric damage risk.
Moisture-Curing
After application, PUR adhesive reacts with ambient humidity, enhancing bond strength over time.
Flexible & Soft Finish
Maintains fabric drape and flexibility without stiffening.
Main characteristics
Thermoplastic adhesive that melts when heated (typically 80°C–160°C) and bonds fabrics upon cooling.
Reactive PU (PUR): Cures with moisture for permanent, wash-resistant bonds.
Non-reactive PU: Standard thermoplastic adhesive, flexible but less durable than PUR.
Used for seam sealing, lamination, hemming, and reinforcing textiles.
